Forward Independence is a new political organization and proud affiliate of the national Forward Party movement, co-founded in 2022 by Andrew Yang and Christine Todd Whitman. Our mission is to help reform American politics into a system that is less divisive, more collaborative, and focused on real problem-solving.
End Big Money in Politics Amendment
We’re gathering together the people and organizations that believe, as we do, that political parties must work for everyone, not just special interests or big donors. American citizens should decide what’s best for all of us, not small groups of party operatives in back rooms. To that end, in 2025 we merged the Minnesota Forward Party with the Independence Alliance Party (IAP) to create Forward Independence.
